The round filter

The round design of the filter allows the gas to flow easily inside a cylinder. With the help of gravity, dust and sorbent can be automatically removed at the bottom of the filter during operation.

The improved airflow results in significantly lower pressure loss, which will reduce the load on the exhaust ventilation and generally improve operation. There are several technical details to consider in order to achieve the best flow, and in general, the system is designed with a focus on achieving the best air flow through all the components that the flue gas must pass through. One of these is to design the reactor with special guiding sections that will even out the flow while ensuring an optimal mix of activated carbon and lime or bicarbonate.

Many industrial processes produce flue gas as a by-product, for example during thermal treatment, combustion, and gasification. In most cases, the temperature of the flue gas must be reduced before it can be purified. Various cooling solutions are available, but water injection through a cooling tower or heat exchanger system is often used.

Heat exchangers can be wet solutions using cooling equipment, or dry heat exchangers using air-to-water (boiler) or air-to-air solutions.
